Cool picture! But TBH even in the lackluster condition the US is in, it’s infinitly better than when I lived in China for a few years. All news is controlled by the CCP, wall murals of stabbing Japanese and Americans with bayonets, being asked to see your papers just walking down the street, no real Internet or any websites you’d go to (Google, FB, Tictok, Lemmy, Reddit ect).

It’s very surreal, I wish more people experienced it to under what it’s like to have freedoms completely stripped away.
