This makes me so sad I almost wanna cry. How fucking heartless do you have to be to destroy books like some nazi book burning ritual? FFS as if I didnt despise AI enough already. Regulate AI into oblivion.
Don’t they have robots to scan books that don’t require destruction? I’m all for scanning books for lots of reasons, but destroying them in the process seems unnecessary.
Apparently a judge in bumfuck, CA decided it’s not copyright infringement if they destroy the media they copied afterwards. Not kidding (except for the location).
