Ram seems like a weird thing to scalp considering many people aren’t really buying it in the first place from being priced out.
As I understand it, it’s less that the LLM’s use the exact same memory and more that the resources we needed for our RAM to get built have been bought up for the immediate future and repurposed to build what they need for the stupid data centers
