ATC: “N3407 Heavy, proceed left to enter a holding pattern.”
Pilot: “The runway is directly beneath me to my right, why don’t I just go right?”
ATC: “That’s a great idea, N3407 Heavy. Proceed right to collide with FedEx 005 Heavy.”
Pilot: “…N3407 Heavy, proceeding left to enter holding pattern, over.”
ATC: “You’re a genius.”
as hilarious as this sounds, I can totally see communication cutting and the pilot only getting the first part and missing everything after the callsign
Why would a FedEx flight be “heavy”?
ATC: “Because it’s full of packages, duh. Someone kick this noob!”

You know, I hadn’t thought about it from that angle. I bet they also wouldn’t really last long because there’s no “you did it” graphics or rewards on screen of any kind.
