Risky AF. As a Canadian curious how it’s going to play out. Carney is clearly a smart man… I’m cautiously optimistic.
If you think of AI as an arms race things make a lot more sense.
It also makes sense if he’s appeasing Streeting, who has seemingly become a mouthpiece for every unethical firm wanting a piece of UK government business.
The fact that he didn’t sack Streeting or Mahmoud is a sign that he’s either weak or buys into the whole Blue Labour bullshit. Neither is a good look.
