I pirate everything but software, partially because there’s actually a malware risk there and partially because steam actually has a lot of value compared to the official methods to consume other types of media. I pirate video because even though I have a dv monitor and surround sound it’s nearly impossible to get the streaming services to actually give me the full quality I pay for because their drm is so broken, and there’s no way to actually select what quality stream to use or to download it.

While Germany relaxed its gaming rules in 2018, allowing modern entries like The New Order to go uncut in 2019, Grey Matter’s 2001 classic remained stuck in censorship limbo until now.

I guess the laws did

I imagine this would show up as texture pop in as often they will load the lower resolution textures first while the higher resolution ones load in, which wouldn’t shown up in n average framerate graph. I’d like to see a frametime plot as well as 1% lows don’t really tell enough of the picture for stuftering.
