Here’s the original without the giant, fuck-off text shoving the entire joke in your face the whole time.
Fuck off text?
There must be something wrong with YouTube, because it says that was uploaded 18 years ago.
Did you know that YouTube was originally created to document the Janet Jackson incident?
I know, right? Hey, did you see that there’s a new Llamas with Hats?
That kills people!
Wdym, it was actually uploaded 18 years ago.
I believe they are exhibiting denial that YouTube could possibly be old enough to have videos uploaded 18 years ago.
This denial is being done mostly in jest to cover the true, creeping, dripping, existential despair that so much time has passed, but at the same time to commiserate and laugh with others who are similarly affected. Drip, drip, tick, tick, tick.
Also, the video turns 19 in a couple of months. yaaaaay
geez that tux looks creepy af xD Love it!
Like that Panda commercial where it’d stare people down and then wreck their desks in a rage. Lmao
maybe circle the overlaid punchline in red next time so I don’t miss the joke
And add some Subway Surfers or Skylanders footage so I don’t scroll away in the first half-second.
Been using linux since 2006 and this is the first time I see an ad for it. Well done.
This ad was made just 2 years after you started.
IBM made ads for Linux in the beginning of the 2000s. Most were a bit weird.

Here’s one with Sisko (Avery Brooks): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJA9eiUktcA
I remember suse making quite a few back in the days, some were pretty nice.
SUSE has an entire library of musical parodies. Some of them actually slap. This one is my favorite.
SUSE parodies remind me of when tech competition was actually fun. <3
fyi you probably wanna cut the parameter in url after video id as it may identify you
Thanks, I rarely share anything on my phone and I think I got lazy from relying on a browser extension to remove those. I appreciate the heads up.
Honestly don’t get the joke
This is one of those “it’s so bad that it’s good” movies. Love it.
Joke is allways funnier when you start with the point.
That way I know what is coming and won’t risk having my expectations subverted.
As we know, surprise is a comedy killer.
Apparently, Linux can’t even get people to spell ‘losing’ correctly.
It has me loosing my grammar correcting urges. X_X
So will Microsoft, to their cloud.
There is a difference between macOS and Linux.
Yes, MacOS is corporate surveillance crap and Linux isn’t.
*If you install a light weight distro close to the mainline ones.
Who made this?
There are credits at the end
I still have more questions than answers.
lucky you. you have the Information Highway©®™ at your fingertips
I gotta say, “living embodiment of Linux as a Christ figure” was not something I expected to see today.
I was hoping Tux would have a persona more like Dr. Cox, sweeping in nonchalantly to save the patient while badgering the interns for being incompetent
Linux is my personal savior. You can make a religion out if this!
It is, too late, for my PC.
The C drive is full despite me having very little saved, some music, some openoffice docs, that’s it. Idk how to clean it or wipe it, every folder under C seems empty yet the space is full.
i guess you’re on windows? use treesize or wiztree and find what uses space
Thank You! I am trying to figure out how to get on linux, I am not a computer guy.
Wiztree my beloved
Given your apparent technical level, I think you need to get your PC to someone who can work on it in person.
If you had space and better technical skills, there are tools you could install to help you track down where all the space is in use, but I don’t feel confident that things would go well talking you through that on an Internet forum.
I am not stupid just never learned computer stuff more than I had too. My focus is elsewhere. I can and will do it myself because that is my only option.
Sorry, I never meant to imply you were stupid. Only that you didn’t seem to be of a high enough technical level - right now - to be able to solve your PC problems.
As for (non-committal) further advice: Backups, backups, backups. And then a tool like WinDirStat to track down what’s using all your space. There are YouTube videos that show you how to use it.
