Slightly off topic but it’s the F1 summer break so let‘s watch some great motorsports.
Formula E

The most high profile one is clearly the Formula E finale consisting of two races today and tomorrow in London. The venue at a convention centre is rather narrow, so expect the occasional overly optimistic move into corners. The race is partially indoors and there’s risk of rain today which means half of the track could be wet and the other half bone dry. Should be fun.

These two pages convert the times to your local time zones: Saturday sessions / Sunday sessions
All sessions are free to watch on YouTube but qualifyings and races are heavily geo restricted (check here). If VPNs are legal in your country, they’re an option.
The official streaming partner for the US is Roku and for much of Europe it’s Warner Bros., so Discovery+, HBO max, etc. Details on https://www.fiaformulae.com/en/ways-to-watch
DTM
Next up is DTM, the world’s top non-endurance GT3 race series. This weekend‘s double header is at the legendary Nürburgring.
I’m a bit late here because the first qualifying is right now in the last seconds. For most of the world it’s free on YouTube (check here).
The both races start at 13:30 local time (CEST). Check https://motorsportscalendar.com/event/dtm-2026-n-rburgring for converted times.
In case you need even more motorsports, the entire support program is streamed for free as well. See ADAC Motorsports and Porsche Carrera Cup YT channels.
IndyCar and NASCAR
Both IndyCar and NASCAR are on as well but I’m not aware of licensed free streams of either.

I’d recommend giving Formula E a go. I get for some people the noise (or lack of) is off putting but the racing is quite good and being an almost spec series it’s pretty close.
As a side note I would actually like to see the Formula e head-to-head qualifying format used in Monaco.
Hearing the squeaking tires is great.
