Thats not even the full story - DDR4 is extortion now. Not sure about DDR3 but wouldnt be surprised if its seen the same increases. How long before we’re stripping old machines for DDR2?

I needed something with basic HDMI video output, so that my old DDR4 machine could have graphics. The RTX 3060 in that tower will be moved into the new machine, if space permits.
