Karp is a nut; Thiel is a nut. Is Palantir elvish for “bag o’ nuts” or something?

So, Elon Musk is Marxist? Sam Altman and Mark Zuckerberg are Marxist? Basically the richest, most selfish, most ‘fuck the prolitariat’ people on earth are MARXIST?

Do these fucking wallopers hear themselves speak?

if you’re far enough to the right apparently everyone looks like a Marxist. Even Hitler was a National Socialist (Socialist!)

“There are Marxist overtones and undertones to our business,” he wrote in a letter to shareholders about Palantir’s outstanding quarter. “Others, including many of those building large language models, intend, knowingly or otherwise, to capture the means of production of their purported partners.”

Stupid as shit. Amazon is Marxist because it replaces its top sellers with its own products too. Anything that isn’t neofuedalisim with a network of obligations and gated resources is now Marxist. Dude is literally saying capital accumulation is somehow Marxist. The letter itself is more Marxist than the very behavior it’s describing as Marxist.

I don‘t know why his political opinions would be worth a headline. He was a Hillary Clinton supporter, calls himself socialist but also vehemently anti-woke, and thinks immigrants equal crime. He may have studied philosophy in Frankfurt but his statements have overall been completely nuts so far. I don‘t think he has it all together.

Billionaires run America. Why would his politics not be news?

(Gods, I wish this was sarcasm)

Palantir acting like it’s the champion of freedom is a stretch: This is a company built on selling powerful data analysis tools to governments and large institutions. Complaining that others want too much control while building one of the most influential surveillance platforms in the world is an interesting definition of independence.

What is with people always using Marxist as some sort of big insult in the last couple years?

Red Scare from the 19th century never stopped. Depict ideas as the absolute evil, then use these terms in regular talk according to your made up description and boom you shaped the unthinking masses

I thought that guy’s name was Peter

well regardless, if he says the sky is blue, are you going to believe the sky is red? I mean he’s right about that issue that the AI he talked about is untrustworthy, all AI is untrustworthy for many different reasons.
