This is to keep false information to a minimum. I’m giving everyone in the comments to add the link if they want to see it stay up. I’d prefer that people just add the link when they post it, because it’s starting to get out of hand and I’m having to request the archive links up to 3x a day.
This is only going to get worse up until the midterms, so I’m thinking about just removing it if it doesn’t have an archived link. Any thoughts?
My thoughts are, imo, these are mostly posts that are either outrage porn or downers. I’m willing to listen to everyone’s thoughts though.

Go for it. It’s nice of you to have been helping users like this, but if it’s becoming unsustainable and you can’t moderate effectively, then it’s not worth it. A removal + template comment is not that big of a deal. If you’re open to it, you could tell the user to DM you once they edit the post
I’ve tried the editing thing in the beginning, I think it’s worked once. At first, it was honest mistakes, and it mostly still is. People just look for somewhere to post something, but I suspect that trolls are starting to sneak in. I’ll just remove from now on probably. I guess this is a heads up.
