This is a track that’s notorious for difficult passing, and obviously when discussing two teammates, team orders are part of the conversation. Not to mention, the team has incentive to finish as high as possible, irrespective of which driver finished higher. It’s more complex than “just pass him”. Hamilton had a point. Mercedes did it quick and they finished as strong as they reasonably could. Ferrari didn’t, and possibly/likely lost a spot because of that decision.
