    Spyware is true of (almost) all modern cars. It also has nothing to do with its drivetrain.

    Most analysis puts the break even point of EVs around 25k miles, depending. I should see if that’s changed recently - I think when I last checked, NMC was the main chemistry. LiFePO4 is likely to be even better. But even that’s ignoring any secondary life on the batteries, including grid storage and recycling into new batteries

    I genuinely have no idea what you mean about them being irreparable and single-use. Every dealer can repair them, along with countless independent shops for most brands. I suppose there are a few parts that are dealer-only, but it’s a small minority.
