    I like this idea, but they are announcing cheapish sunglasses for sale during the height of sunny summer with an estimated ship date of late November. That seems like a slight miscalculation.

    EDIT: I’m an idiot, and other places exist. Thank you multiple commenters for pointing out the flaw in my thought here!

    Actually the ‘smart glasses’ are illegal to use in Europe, as you cannot film people in the street without their consent. It’s called privacy and reserve of image.

      Not quite correct. You are not allowed to specifically film people. You are allowed to film in public spaces when the people are just a “background” crowd.

        Different countries have different rules. If you film in Germany then you need to blur the faces of people in the background if you want to show that video anywhere.
