I need to map network shares from my Synology NAS and also from a Win11 Pro desktop. There are just so many variations on how to do this. All I need to do is map drive letters to shares on startup so they are always available.

Sorry for the noob question.

To keep it simple, I am migrating a Windows PC running Sonarr to an Ubuntu PC. So looks like I need samba to access the windows shares. I now see Linux doesn’t use drive letters, so I mount the windows share to a mount point on Ubuntu. 2. No, haven’t done anything yet, just reading and trying to understand the differences.
