Honestly, it was a hell of a drive by Russell being able to hold on to P2 without a stop
Thought the boos were a bit uncalled for, and I say this as a non Russell fan
Definitely didn’t have the kimi win on my bingo card
Thanks for the spoiler. I was going to watch it this afternoon.
Goes onto app that has F1 results posted.
Blames the app for spoiling it.
Sorry man, you just need to stay off the site until you can watch the race if it’s important to you, it’s just in the rules.
it’s just in the rules.
TammyTobacco doesn’t like to follow any rules, it seems:

Holy shit lmao
🤣🤣🤣

This subject comes up a few times a year and always leads to a big unnecessary fight in the community. We’ve had multiple votes on it already. It’s close, but last time a majority of the community voted in favour of having spoiler posts. It is what it is. It sucks having to employ a total media blackout on days you can’t watch a race live, but it’s just one of those things.
I can’t even open WhatsApp without getting spoilers, it is what it is. Although I think this is the first time seeing an F1 post on Lemmy
If you check out the community here it’s actually surprisingly active. Besides getting spoiled if you can’t watch live, it’s a nice community - way more active than !football@sopuli.xyz surprisingly. Even !formuladank@lemmy.world has some activity.
I’ve had races spoiled here a couple of times and not once did I think to blame the app lol. Some self reflection is in order, I think.
Seriously fuckin ridiculous. Have some self control for Christ sake. I woke up. Ate breakfast. Made coffee. And eventually realize the race was on/over. Turned on tv and started it from beginning.
And. Didn’t. Touch. My. Social. Media. Until. I. Finished. The. Race.
Wasn’t hard. People have no ability to stop checking their phones are surprised when shit is spoiled in front of their eyes.
This is real life news, not a TV show.
Get off social media for a bit.
