    I think that’s a fair take.

    I’m no vegan, but I have to laugh when any meat eater takes exception to a dog being eaten. They’re objectively not the most intelligent meat, they don’t feel emotions or pain any more than many other animals eaten for meat.

    Would I do it? No way. But that’s a product of my culture and upbringing, not because I’m on higher moral ground than a North Korean.

      There is an argument against eating dogs im that dogs are largely carnivorous, which means higher energy requirements for them to grow, and an accumulation of diseases

      People usually don’t make that argument though. The breed eaten in East Asia is a specific breed for eating, which is something a lot of people don’t realize
