Generally speaking your state’s Secretary of State and/or County Clerk are the ones to contact regarding your registration status. And not some Fascist Nazi Billionaire, just sayin’.
Also consider consider volunteering to be an Election Worker, and/or helping others to get to the polls.

The vast majority of counties/cities pay poll workers for their time, and some cities can pay very well depending on your role.
Your scope of work involves a scheduled pollworker training class, a 15 hour day on election day, using a laptop, assisting voters, checking drivers licenses, some light paperwork, setting up and tearing down booths and tables/chairs. It’s a very easy job.
if you can get a PTO day, depending on the rules of your main workplace, you can get paid twice for one day! Great way to make extra money and help out with the electoral process too!

Over here in Spain all poll workers are just forced to be there. Such a great way to enjoy your day off (elections are always on Sunday over here).
You get a pittance here too. Far from enough to make me wake up early on a Sunday, go there and take part in that farce even if it lasted just one hour, not even close, much less staying there the whole fucking day, then counting the fucking ballots, and counting them again, and again… copying the results by hand more than a dozen times—one for each of the parties’ observer (? Not sure this is the name. Specially one of them was an absolute asshole), and then taking them to the district council in my own fucking car.
Idk, bit different. In that case there’s a reason to have a more random sample, and not volunteers, and you are fulfilling the right of the defendant to a jury of their peers that you might need to use too at some point. But I guess one should be able to opt out of it and then be tried by the judge instead.

In Germany, it’s usually volunteers, but you may also be drafted in case there is a shortage. However, you get some Euros “refreshment allowance”.

That’s harsh, though I guess you could argue it’s no worse than jury service as it’s done here in the UK which is at least two weeks usually.
