

What LLMs in Debian development will do, I fear, is eliminate any incentive to scrap boilerplate or reform policies that require a lot of other senseless human effort.
I feel like this is an extremely overlooked thing by the slop coder crowd. Things being hard/annoying is information that you can learn from and improve upon. It is also an own goal imo, if you as someone that wants to automate the world, can’t even automate the annoying parts of your own work without the slop extruder…
