It hasn’t worked for me for a couple weeks now. I only lurk there when I am checking to see if a tech question I have has already been answered by someone, so it’s not a huge loss for me. It also stopped working on some subreddits before others. From the same computer at the same time I could see /r/Delta but could not see /r/MLS on old.reddit.

That picture is so disconnected from my mental image of Kern River.

The Kern is one of the prettiest places in Southern CA. It’s wild nature, dotted with small towns. That picture is something else entirely.

That $1.2B could have been spent on any number of things that would have made normal people happier, healthier, smarter, etc. Instead, we are paying $1.2B to do literally nothing.

It’s telling that CONCACAF’s rationale for being against it was because they weren’t consulted first… not because they didn’t like the plan, just that they didn’t know about it ahead of time.
