You know, what I hate about these “wars” the USA are fighting is the asymmetry. The US is like a bully punching smaller kids. Always dealing out pain, but never getting punched himself.

The war never comes to their doorstep, into their cities, killing their civilians and destroying their infrastructure. I mean, the one time it actually did (9/11), they threw the biggest tamper tantrum that went on for years. Maybe this bully deserves another punch in the face, just so he doesn’t forget what pain feels like. To regain the ability to emphasize with his victims.

They will fuck you over the moment they can benefit just a little more from it. Particularly the current administration. What’s the point of making a deal when they will walk away from it the next day?
