the funny thing is, on any sufficiently popular subreddit, you can count on a significant portion of frontpage posts at any time to be AI generated or reposted verbatim. there’s probably worse odds than 50/50 that a given post about the AI epidemic is itself generated on GPT.

i believe that based on my knowledge of the case, it’s highly likely he’s the culprit but the circumstances are suspicious enough that it wouldn’t be ‘beyond a shadow of a doubt’ for me
