I think most people agree. These fascists aren’t being criticized for their software contributions. They are being criticized for being fascists.

Ignoring fascists and hoping they go away is one reason why fascism is having a resurgence right now. Immoral behavior should be challenged as widely and publicly as necessary to make everyone aware that it’s inappropriate. People don’t stop doing immoral things unless there are social consequences for it.
