honestly wth is windows update even doing? takes my thinkpad from 2020 about 30 min to recompile my ENTIRE nixos setup from scratch. FROM SCRATCH, freshly formatted drive, 30 minites later an entirely functional DE with all apps i need installed.
How does windows manage to take longer, on better hardware, with something that should by all account be an easier cpu task? im baffled




p sure latest nano can do all that, you can atleast change the bindings to ctrl s in the .nanorc file and im p sure most distros include a build of nano that has mouse support. If its supported by the build, its just a settings toggle in the rc file likr the bindings :)
