i tried a method i found online a few of years ago of putting it into boot mode and using an app to unlock the bootloader or something, not the same one the article. i should have made that much clearer.

btw if you are aware of any method to unbrick it i’m all ears, it’s still in a drawer somewhere collecting dust.

i tried doing that to my chromecast and ended up bricking it.
