    I’m in Reykjavík we got the total eclipse. It was cloudy 🙂

      I travelled to Spain to see the total eclipse and it was cloudy. My next door neighbour in UK had a better view

    It was too cloudy to see it here, and it feels extra insulting to know we had less sun than the UK

    They tried that at the meetup at our local planetary observatory.
    Didn’t work for some reason, though.

    But they also had the more serious stuff lined up, so got some great views!

    I have a wonderful memory of making viewing boxes with friends for a previous eclipse. This made me think of that.

    I managed to do the same by making a small gap between my fingers. Then went back to looking at it with eclipse glasses.
