Sadly Jackie has betrayed the people of Hong Kong. In 2009 he stated “I’m not sure if it’s good to have freedom or not.”. He also said he was “beginning to feel that we Chinese need to be controlled.”
more than that, he tried joining the CCP , and failed, i think he still supports them. HK film industry quickly blacklisted him over his support for the ccp, before china took over hong kong. i dont think Xi will be happy sharing that power with him.
