I’m betting they banned them because it can confuse drug tests. They don’t want people to be able to use the excuse that they had an item with poppyseeds earlier that day and that’s why the drug test came back positive.

If you’re on probation or something maybe they will let you retake it but if its the same amount of time that passes that you’d have to let pass to let actual drugs out of your system then you’re going to fucking jail. They straight up don’t care.
And if you’re applying for jobs and that happens just cross yourself off the list. No redoes.

I cannot even get good numbers on how many washed (i.e. food grade) poppy seeds are needed to get you high.
