Nice
Last week? Er… < insert swooshing noise > … what do you mean it’s mid-August?!
Ah, standing desks… they’re great.
I feel really motivated with mine, the trouble is, I kinda want to walk off all the time.
Mine lowers / raises, so I can sit down too, but it’s interesting thst I always want to stand during calls.
Let me know about the walking pad… I thought they’d be a distraction whilst walking, but I need to get more movement in during the day.
Yeah, I’m not a subscriber - I don’t have a YT account - but if I did, I’d be down voting and writing comments like “so… where’s the content from your click bait thumbnail?” 😉
Edit: I’d also add something like “my subscription? You’ll never guess what I did next…” 😉

Hmmm… there’s a few different things going on here.
As others have already said you don’t need a cert if you’re just messing around internally, you can use an internal TLD - .local is reserved for mdns, Avahi, etc. so that’s fine… personally, I use .home
I use pfSense, but I presume that OPNSense has the same function in DHCP to provide the Domain Name in there, so any static mappings will respond to thing.home
I also have HAProxy to resolve external httpS://IP:Port to an internal http://thing.home (note: no S internally)… this simplifies my setup, and I presume it could work internally too, but I’ve not set it up as DHCP solves that for me.
I don’t use containers, instead each thing is it’s own VM, or physical machine, so I don’t know whether NAT (on proxmox) would resolve your issues with everything’s on 1 VM…?
My impression - not necessarily based on fact:
he used to do good, useful, interesting videos back in the day…
then he found he was getting a good income from yoochoob…
then he started chasing the click bait
If he’s doing anything useful now, I’d expect it’s because he’s lost a lot of viewers (income) … I don’t watch his new stuff, the thumbnails still look clickbaity to me, but maybe he’s going back to his original content…?
To answer your implied question, I don’t subscribe to anyone. I just search around for whoever’s talking about the thing I’m now interested in (usually Lemmy’s the source of the new thing)… I check in with Tom Lawrence (Lawrence Systems) often, but that’s about it.
VLC?
That’ll play subfolders, randomly and with normalisation… although I’ve not really used the normalisation much, just played with it a few times when yoochoob downloads were all mismatched.
