4 days agoI’ve got a Framework 13 7840U and I’ve never had issues with S0ix sleep. Very early on, apparently the keyboard would spuriously wake the laptop, but that’s been fixed for years now, and I’ve never noticed it.
On some other (non-Framework) laptops you can enable S3 using Smokeless_UMAF, but it just results in a black screen on resume for mine.
Yes, but an SSD you already own is cheaper than buying a new one. So it’s interesting to see how much improvement an NVMe SSD would make if someone were to upgrade from a SATA one.
