I think this is great but I have one concern, what about emergency services? Like if a parent has a heart attack and ambulance can’t get there due to no road closure. Is there a plan for such events?

That’s not fun, I wanted it to be like it was actually Jay Smith who walked across a street in Boston and the cars stopped, resulting in a massive traffic jam, as a result they passed this law.

The real question is : who is Jay?

The logic(and I don’t agree with this) is that let’s say Sally spent 550 dollars on catering. If she would have searched around she possibly could have found a comparable caterer for 500. By not doing that sally effectively stole 50 dollars.

I know people who work at Raytheon. It’s a hot line for telling on your coworkers. That’s it. So you find out Sally used her sister’s catering company for a luncheon, you don’t like Sally, you call the number, they “verify” and fire Sally.

The other issue is enforcement. If somebody releases a weights table on the web publicly, by the time the government can review it thousands of people could of seen it and saved a copy of it. You can track down the first person and say take it down but you can’t track down everyone. It’s like the dvd encryption number from the early 2000s. Why waste the resources?

Holy fuck those prices… I know prices went up but I figured like $2500, maybe $3000 but over $5000???
Had similar issues, disconnecting wifi and reconnecting it on the computer usually fixes it.
Well now it’s not as safe for the kids… Then again most kids should recognize bright lights and sirens and know to get off the street if they are out alone
